About This Course

When writing code, particularly as part of a project involving multiple people, it is important to have proper version control. It is also important to be able to share the code in a way that allows others to view, edit, and download it, as necessary. GitHub harnesses the power of Git to provide these features. GitHub also provides a simple and free way to host web pages built from files on GitHub. There are multiple ways to use GitHub, including the online portal and GitHub Desktop.
