TETHYS-401: Web Services

An Introduction to Web Services -- what they are, how to use them, how they are relevant to web development in Tethys.

About This Course

In the world of computing, developers have always needed to balance costs while obtaining the required computing power, storage space needed, and access to data and the software to process it. Not all of these resources are needed in the same amount all the time, and so buying the maximum amount needed may not be cost effective. Web services seek to solve these problems by allowing users to access these resources only as they need them./p>
